Lodging Options for Elders Climate Action Day
Thursday’s ECAD meeting will be held at American University Washington College of Law at 4300 Nebraska Avenue, NW. It is a 5 minute walk from the Tenleytown–AU Metro Station on the Red Line, which offers a direct connection to Union Station and nearby Capitol Hill where we will be on Friday. Any lodging close to a metro station on the W/NW extension of the Red Line will provide easy access to both day’s activities, and also to Saturday’s Climate March. These include the Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, Dupont Circle, and Farragut North metro stations.
American University provides a listing of hotels and three hostels in the surrounding area. Some provide a discount if you mention AU. From Tenleytown-AU metro station to Union Station is about a 20 minute ride, and a round-trip ticket is under $5.
